Kimmo had a novel business idea for improving health and wellbeing of citizens. He realized that alone he could not reach enough customers nor provide required expertise. He needed to collaborate with other companies.
Kimmo drew a Partner Analysis-map showing differing players related to his new business idea. This helped him to decide which companies he should try to involve. Then he wrote down what would motivate these companies to collaborate and what they should provide for the business. Kimmo contacted the companies and eventually arranged meetings where all potential partner had the chance to see each others and discuss over potential business collaboration. As a result, the companies agreed to examine the potential of the business idea further and engaged into development and testing of the business model.
